Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Production Supervisor who is fluent in both English and Spanish to oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and leading a team of production workers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency goals are achieved
- Manage and lead a team of production workers, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Coordination with other shifts, departments and personnel as required
- Monitor and make staff adjustments as required for absenteeism
- Provide troubleshooting to operator when signaled via tower light
- Ability to train molding operators as required
- Execution of mold changes and job set-ups to meet production schedule
- Ensure the completion of 1st pc approvals
- Collaboration with QC in resolving items identified in audits
- Responsible for coordinating proper staging, fulfillment, and preparation of materials for molding operations
- Responsible for reporting any maintenance problems with molds/machines to fabrication/maintenance
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of orders
- Monitor production metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, engineering, and maintenance, to resolve production-related issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of rotational molding process and equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
