Summary:

As the HR Coordinator you will are responsible for assistance in the HR department as well as office administration. This is a highly visible role that impacts the impression our employees, customers, vendors and colleagues have; in person and by phone.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Supporting our Human Resources department through interview scheduling and processing applicants who are on-site for interviews and hiring.
  • Maintaining the physical space of the office; ensuring our physical space is clean and orderly.
  • Responsible for payroll in a timely manner
  • Maintain Inventory for supply closet
  • Assist in greeting and front office phone calls
  • Responsible for meeting minutes and notes
  • Maintaining employee files, paper and electronic
  • Upkeeping staffing sheets, and open positions
  • On-board new employees, assist in paperwork
  • Enter employee time in QuickBooks and Easy Clocking.
  • Help with miscellaneous projects as they arise
  • Enrolling employees in benefits, upkeep of employee files
  • Time record keeping, importing and corrections
  • Weekly break room presentation editing
  • Data entry for production employees
  • Upkeep social calendars with Birthdays, Anniversaries, Probationary & Time Off/Vacations
  • Assistance with fielding employee questions
  • Process time off requests
  • Complete disciplinary sheets for attendance issues and assess points
  • Track cumulative attendance points
  • Maintain safety checklist and training
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Demonstration of excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish; you will be the point of contact for our Spanish speaking employees and visitors.
  • Ability to work 7:30-4:00, Monday through Friday
  • Clerical related experience preferred
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to follow work instructions or processes

Physical Requirements:

Position includes, walking, standing, lifting to 50lbs and working in a production setting.
