Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead the financial operations of our growing manufacturing organization. This role will oversee all accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide strategic financial insight to leadership and ownership.

The Controller will play a critical leadership role in strengthening financial processes, improving reporting capabilities, and helping guide the company’s continued growth. This position works closely with ownership and operational leaders to drive sound financial decision-making across the organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance leader with strong manufacturing accounting experience who enjoys building processes, improving systems, and partnering with leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Reporting

Lead all accounting operations including A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger, cost accounting, and inventory accounting
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage month-end and year-end close processes
Ensure accurate revenue recognition, inventory valuation, and expense tracking
Develop and maintain financial dashboards and performance metrics
Present financial results and insights to ownership and leadership

Budgeting & Forecasting

Lead the annual budgeting process
Develop rolling forecasts and cash flow projections
Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis
Partner with department leaders to support operational planning and financial decision-making

Internal Controls & Compliance

Establish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures
Coordinate annual audits and tax preparation with external accounting firms
Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
